Jacob's Work

I used these colours and layout as the visual impact would be very good. I wanted some panels to go together when folded out and used some shading to create very 3D standing out visuals that make it look interesting. The colours, tones and shapes relate to the genre of music in our music video as there is a lot of strong colours and lines that reflect the strong, plain beats of the music.

Font Ideas

I think these fonts suit our genre. The last one especially, is hard for people to read and if they look at it for too long it confuses their eyes and our genre aims to mess with peoples heads. They are all linked to computers and technology with the strong lines, but also different in some way, such as the third one being fractured

My Digipak

This is my first draft of a digipak. for our final product, Jacob, James and I will combine our ideas onto one product

Digipak covers

A digipak is a pack that holds a CD; made of cardboard and sometimes use plastic to hold the CD. It is designed like a booklet that folds out. Most digipaks have 6 sides with either artwork or photos on each panel.

An effective digipak has the same theme running throughout, following a colour theme that is strong and contrasting; to make them stand out on a shop shelf. Digipaks shouldn't be too overwhelming for the consumer.

Big Beat Poster 2010

These are posters for a Big Beat Reunion concert. This has given us a recent insight of how Big Beat posters look. This will be useful for our production of a music poster in the genre of Big Beat. The song we have chosen; Galvanize; fits into this genre.
